In Cullman County, help doesn't arrive because of a distant call center — it arrives because someone from your community chose to show up. That's Trimble Volunteer Fire Department.
Always Ready
Day or night, rain or shine
About Us
Trimble Volunteer Fire Department isn't staffed by professionals who clock in and out. It's built by teachers, mechanics, farmers, and neighbors — people who live here, shop here, and send their kids to the same schools. When the alarm sounds at 2 a.m., they don't hesitate. They answer.
Located at 4896 County Road 222 in Cullman, our department has served this community for generations. Every call answered, every drill completed, every life protected comes from the unpaid dedication of men and women who believe that looking out for each other is simply the right thing to do.

What We Do
From active fire suppression to fire safety education in local schools, Trimble VFD covers the full spectrum of emergency response and community protection.
Structured fire response for residential, commercial, and wildland incidents across Cullman County. Our volunteer crew responds to every call with training, equipment, and determination.
First-response medical assistance for cardiac events, trauma, and other life-threatening emergencies before ambulances arrive. Every minute counts, and we're already there.
Motor vehicle accident response, extrication, and technical rescue on highways and rural roads throughout the county. Trained, equipped, and ready to deploy.
Proactive fire safety inspections for businesses and residential properties, helping Cullman County prevent tragedies before they start.
Fire safety demonstrations, CPR and first-aid workshops, and school presentations that empower residents to protect themselves and their families.
Coordinating with county and state agencies for missing person searches, natural disaster response, and recovery operations across rural Cullman County.
Our Community
Trimble Volunteer Fire Department exists because ordinary people decided to do something extraordinary. There's no pension motivating these responders. There's no corporate structure. There's only the conviction that when your neighbor calls for help, you answer.
We train on weekends. We maintain our own apparatus. We fundraise for new equipment. And when the siren sounds in the middle of dinner, game night, or sleep — we go. That's the volunteer spirit that keeps Cullman County safe.
In an emergency, every second matters. Trimble Volunteer Fire Department responds 24 hours a day, 7 days a week — because your safety can't wait until Monday morning.
